Paddington Ward Office Support

We have a small but committed staff team on board in the Paddington Ward office. My team and I are committed to supporting our community and offering any help that we can.

Support for individual residents:

  • Assisting you with ongoing advocacy about any local council issue.
  • Provide local referrals where we can’t help with direct advocacy.
  • Organise a meeting to discuss any local concerns you might have.
  • Collaborate and connect you with other residents to campaign on local issues.

For any immediate Council issue, we recommend calling the 24/7 Council hotline on 3403 8888, asking for a reference number, and recording that number. If it's urgent, or if it's not fixed in the time-frame that you were told, send our office that reference number so that our office can advocate on your behalf. We have a bit more info about getting help from the Council on this website.

Support for local community groups or projects:

  • Provide free printing.
  • Applying to our local ward office grant program, that is aimed at smaller local community groups and projects.
  • Assist you in applying for external grants with a letter of support.
  • Help promote events through our monthly e.newsletter.

We aim to build a culture of equality, compassion, positivity, and transparency in the Paddington Ward. Our focus is on empowerment of the local community and capacity building that enables people and the community to better help themselves and others in the future.
