Rosalie Pedestrian Crossing

Rosalie Pedestrian Crossing Vote Results

From the 16th of May, to the 7th of June, I ran a community vote on whether I should fund a pedestrian crossing in Rosalie Village. Thank you to everybody who took part!

For reference, volunteers with my office dropped letters in roughly 2300 letterboxes in the Rosalie area. Here's the distribution map:

Here is a copy of the pdf version of the vote form. It has some formatting differences compared to the online version.

380 people have voted. We might still get a few votes in the mail, and I'll update this page with those results.

The core question of this vote was:

"Do you support this new pedestrian crossing for Rosalie? Yes/No"

Here are the results:

Yes No
247 133
65.0% 35.0%

This is an overwhelming vote for a pedestrian crossing.

Here are the vote strengths (just note that not everybody included their vote strength):

1 (Completely oppose) 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 (Completely support)
93 15 12 1 2 1 5 25 18 201
24.9% 4.0% 3.2% 0.3% 0.5% 0.3% 1.3% 6.7% 4.8% 53.9%

More than half of votes are for the strongest possible yes.

Later in the week (Wednesday 10/06/26 to Friday 12/06/26) I will upload a more detailed analysis, and details about 'what happens next'. I will continue to update the website as the analysis continues.

See later this week!
